THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT

We are proposing to deliver 135 high-quality, much needed new homes across a range of tenures.  The proposed development will deliver new and extensive areas of publicly accessible open space, ecological features, improved pedestrian connections and S106 contributions.  The development proposes 33% affordable housing provision, suited to the needs of the wider community, as bolstered by our partnership model.

Placemaking is at the core of our design process to create quality development that places the needs of future and existing residents first.  The masterplan takes account of the site’s surroundings, and the opportunity this presents to integrate into the settlement of Cheadle.

The masterplan builds upon the design principles established for the site by Keepmoat’s recently built out Augustus Way development, and will deliver high-quality, sustainable new homes which respond to the surrounding context, with open space and landscaped buffer along the southern boundary.
